Owner Michael Giannasca grew up in Chelsea. Working 35 years experience in food service, he runs this casual family restaurant with his three children.

You'll be transported to the Italian neighborhood's famous festivals when you bite into their "Wacky G" sandwich. The sub roll is filled with Bianco's Italian sausage, brocoli rabe, and proscutto topped with melted provolone cheese.

There's lots of familar pasta dishes including meatballs, bolognese, chicken piccatta, eggplant al romano, and veal cutlet. Pair these with your choice of ziti, linguine, ravioli, gnochi, fusilli, fetticine or tortellini.

But Michael G's is best known for their pizza made with fresh ingredients and care. The dough is made fresh daily and proofed for two days, giving their crust a complex flavor. Their sauce is made from fresh vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh herbs and topped with a signature blend of cheeses. One of the local favorites at Michael G's is the Neapolitan Pizza. It’s the classic thin-crust cheese and tomato sauce pizza.
